The National Theater was built in 1923 and is the only surviving auditorium of Theatre Row, which once lined the 700 block of Broad Street. With a capacity of 1,500, it originally staged both live entertainment as well as motion pictures. It's our favorite music venue in Richmond. Great staff and a solid line-up of bands make for a great night out.
